Babies are adorable. However, the adorable little ones literally have no control over their bodily functions. So the mother of the baby needs to be on round the clock cleanup duty and it is inevitable. Two activities that take up the time of a new mother are the feeding of the baby and cleaning him. There are times when they will realize that they have not found time for the house hold chores and all that they have been doing is feeding and cleaning the baby. The only way to handle this inevitable pressure is to be disciplined and organized. All the chores like arranging nappies, clothes, changing sheets, wash clothes and bathing baby have to be systemized. Keep everything in place, so that it can be found easily.

Bathing And Cleaning The toddler

There should be a bath routine for the baby. This helps the mother to remember the bathing habits of the baby. This includes things like the warmth of the water and the sleeping time of the baby. Some babies dislike taking bath everyday. In that case sponge clean the baby. Always keep the bathing and cleaning items in one place. So it is always at hand. Baby’s hair need not be washed everyday. Wiping it with a damp flannel cloth will remove the dirt. Nibble the nails of the baby after the bath or use a pair of scissors to cut them off while their sleeping. The ears and the nose should be gently wiped with a wet cotton wool. These organs clean by themselves.

Changing Diapers

It is necessary to change diapers for the baby now and then. Before changing the diaper assess the situation by peeing into the back of the baby’s diaper. If the situation is grim, before changing assemble the supply of clean diaper and several wipes. Lay the baby on the pad , remove the soiled diaper and wipe from front to back thoroughly. Now place the baby in the clean diaper.

Tips To Remember

1. After the bath wrap your baby in a towel to keep it warm.
2. Use little cotton wool dipped in cooled boiled water to wipe the eyes.
3. Wipe the face and neck with damp flannel. Wipe dry their hands after every meal.
4. Change them in special bedtime clothes. This helps them to get used to a bedtime routine.
