Many companies also boast of marketing technologically advanced trowels and forks, but the inexpensive handy, and durable traditional trowels work just as well.
Management of Garden trowels:
Since garden trowels are long lasting and durable they require very little management. However, they need to be sharpened after a couple of years to maintain their sharpness. There are many different ways of sharpening the blades. The simplest way is by rubbing the sharp edge of the trowel or fork on sandpaper. Other methods like hand filling or electric grinding can also be effectively used. The best way of avoiding any problem is however is by prevention. The hand trowels should be cleaned of any left over mud or other particles as soon as the job is done. You can also use a lubricant for cleaning purposes. Proper Storage of garden trowels and forks is however very necessary if you have small children or pets. Choosing the varieties that minimize this danger can be an option.
