Height Setting Function
The Little Giant ladder is a multifunctional ladder system that comprises of the basic components like an inner ladder unit assembly and two outer unit assemblies, which telescope over the inner. The inner ladder assembly has two locking center hinges that allow the ladder system to be configured into A-frame, extension, stairwell, scaffolding trestles.
A-Frame Height Setting
1. From the storage position unlock the hinge by pushing straight in on the palm button till it stays in the open position on both hinges.
2. To bring the ladder to the A-frame position by pulling the two ladders apart until both hinge lock pins snap into the A-frame locked position.
3. Raise the inner ladder upto the desired height and then align the outer holes with the nearest rung hole of the inner ladder assembly
To Adjust The Height Of Extension Ladder
1. Unlock the hinges and rotate to extension position until both hinges lock into place.
2. Now unlock the lock tab on the upper half of the ladder. Then walk the outer ladder back wards allowing the ladder to telescope to the desired height.
3. However, if more height is required extend the lower half of the ladder.
4. To store the ladder from its extension position, reverse the above sequence starting with the lower half of the ladder
Staircase Position
1. From the storage position unlock the hinge by pushing straight in on the palm button till it stays in the open position on both hinges.
2. To bring the ladder to the A-frame position by pulling the two ladders apart until both hinge lock pins snap into the A-frame locked position.
3. Adjust the ladder to the desired height.
4. Then adjust the side desired for proper alignment to fit the staircase
Tips To Use The Ladder
1. The hinges are heavy-duty materials and hurt the worker if he is careless, while adjusting hinges.
2. Hold the ladder with both hands on the vertical upper rails or hinges of the ladder while telescoping up or down.
3. When using ladders set all four feet on firm level surface and keep steps dry and clean. Wear slip-resistant shoes.
4. Ensure that the ladder does not come in contact with electrical circuits works while working near power lines.
5. Read the instructions on the ladder carefully
